  • SWOG meeting, bat and moth evening

    A big thanks to Rodney and Heather who hosted this very interesting and informative event at their wood near Northiam in East Sussex.

  • Phytophthora ramorum – update

    Alison Evans, Communications officer from the Forestry Commission Wales, has posted us a note which gives an update  on the outbreak of Phytophthora ramorum in South Wales.  There is also some free awareness training being organised for 7th, 8th and 16th of July, full details are available here.

  • SWOG event – Using your wood to heat your home

    This was a very successful and informative event held at Flimwell last weekend (22nd May).    There were three main speakers, Mike Pepler of Ashden Awards, Matthew Woodcock from the  Forestry commission and Nick Gibbs editor of  Living Woods magazine.
