Woodland help offered

Topics that don't easily fit anywhere else!

Postby exmonkey » Thu Apr 30, 2009 2:22 pm

Hi - I am hoping to chat to anyone in my local area who has woodland, but cannot or does not want to harvest their coppice, the idea being that I would come and help cut you trees in return for a proportion of the timber.

In this way you would be able to keep you coppice in cycle and I would get some wood to heat my home.

If anyone is interested, please feel free to contact me - [email protected]

I live near in Marden in Kent and so am looking to talk to people around Maidstone, Cranbrook, Frittenden, Staplehurst etc

Just to add that Mike and I know exmonkey, and he is a very nice man, who has his chainsaw ticket! We would recommend him. ;-)
