The measure of acre information is very helpful thank you.

So envious of the person with the shepherds hut. I would love one or an old railway goods or carriage.

We have 4.5 acres and after several overnight (in campervan) visits - we live 1.5 hours away but like others there is nothing nearby - are going tomorrow and taking the chairs for the first time so we can sit and watch and listen to the wildlife.

It has turned out to be a social activity too as we have several woodland neighbours and we get to chat and exchange ideas with them, which is really good & something we didn't really anticipate.

Hi campievanner,
Thanks for reply.
If i could get 4.5 acres that would be great.
I'd buy a trailer tent eventurely but at the moment i have a tunnel tent though not done any camping for some time.
Mmm maybe a tree house.

add to that list doing stuff with kids, like building tree camps, shooting tin cans with air guns and using tools (kids like axes, and then again so do a lot of us grown ups)

The girlfriend an i do have a couple of good air riffles that we take to a range.

Im noticing that some peoples interpitatipn of a wood is not the same as mine.....i like to see some trees not a load of sticks growing out of the ground.
woodland coming up for sale seems to be rather bare To me.

What are you looking at? We've looked at many woodlands for sale over the years in the south-east and all have had been well populated in terms of trees!
