Ditto on the lawnmower questions. Can you pull logs around behind it? How big?

I suspect I could do with a felling lever, how useful are they?

Greyman

my lawnmower is a Westwood T1600 which is 16 BHP and a tow ball on the back. Buying another one because the it needs rewiring and going to sell it on Ebay. Just brought another one on Ebay which is 18bhp and a briggs and stratton engine. There great for getting to those awkard places where a biggger vehicle can't reach. You should be able to bolt a tow ball to the frame. If you need extra tread you can get chevron tyres.

James

I've never pulled logs on there own, I just load them onto the trailer. It seems to pull alot of weight, alot more than i could carry, maybe quarter of a ton plus. I've found it a real labour and energy saying machine for little cost. It's a trend that has caught on with my woodland neighbours.

Yes, and the tweezers and eye bath are invaluable!

I would like to recommend a trenching tool, a military fold up spade.

You never know when you might need to dig yourself out of a hole !

Its only worth getting the all metal genuine ex army ones, not the crapoid imitations found in camping shops.

Got mine at Kit Monster in Tunbridge Wells.

Folds up very small, can be angled to make a pick & even comes with a holster if you wanted to attach it to your belt, though I just keep mine in tthe Land Rover.

That looks like a great shop Richard, do they only have a website or do they have a shop to visit?
