Jim Jones, project officer at the Peoples Trust for Endangered Species, is looking for volunteers to help survey the condition of new hedges in our dormice record “hotspots”. Hedgerow survey volunteers are currently needed in Surrey, Essex, Shropshire and Dorset.

If you are interested in this, visit the website http://www.ptes.org/index.php?cat=110 to find out more. If you follow the 'volunteers needed link' you can download all the information you need to start surveying!
