Scaring the deer

Postby WickedWitch » Wed Nov 14, 2012 12:16 pm

Having trouble with deer? We do. No hazel shoots at all survived last winter I have been hearing about a new way to keep them away. No fences, no shooting. Just an electronic gadget that you fix in a tree, and every time it senses movement it switches on sound that scares the deer away. Music? Gun fire? No, the sound is Radio Four. Apparently the human voice is the scariest thing a deer can hear! Has anyone out there tried it for keeping deer off?

Deadhedging would be easier, cheaper & more environmentaly friendly.
Also less chance of it getting nicked.

Mark your territory as a dog does, drink plenty of water before going though.

I wouldn't take the piss to be honest. :D
