I heard about the iSpot website recently on the BBC Radio 4 programme Saving Species. In their words - "Learn more about wildlife, share your interest with a friendly community and get help identifying what you have seen."


Basically you can post details of some bit of wildlife that you want help identifying, and conversely you can help identify some piece of wildlife that someone else has posted details about.

on the Wild About Britain site - http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/facts_about_britains_trees and you get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" - always the page you want, isn't it? 8-))
