A lot of land agents, Woodlands.co.uk included, won't let you subdivide.

I think he is looking to share woodland rather than divide it - which some people have successfully done.

There are all sorts of pitfalls when sharing a woodland. One of them is agreeing management plan. Most people see sentimental value in trees and don't want them taken down some see the value in management.
