Thank you for the information about the 20 Jan course. The timing is perfect as I'm just about to buy a chainsaw. I've booked myself onto the course and will let you know how I get on.

Great Malcolm, enjoy it - don't forget to tell Dave Rossney (trainer) that you are a swogger ;-)
It is a good idea to do the course before buying a saw - Dave will let you try different ones out and give you some good advice on the pros and cons.
