Nest boxes and other random images

Below some pictures of our four days in the woods over half term:

These are the small owl and woodpecker boxes. Unfortunately these were too heavy for me to hold up the ladder and screw in place at the same time, so will have to wait for another visit with another ladder and pair of hands.

The bat boxes were easy enough, 6 of these have gone up using anti vandal screws.

A couple of the pictures have got mixed up, but you get the drift.

We also installed our woodburner:

A beautiful fungus, if anyone knows what it is?:

Our christmas tree planting:

And finally a days work logging fallen timber:

We ate out every night, had cooked breakfast every morning, elevenses with cakes and still managed to knock three pounds off. Long way to go, but need to do this more often.
