Quite thought provoking this little clip. Although it seems to be a long time to grow a chair using this method, he seems to be saying that it takes even longer to grow one conventionally! I think he's got a point!

I would have thought it would do extremely well, I've noticed 8 or 10 feet growth on a mature healthy coppiced chestnut stool some years!
