Summer is here, if you look at the calendar that is!  It’s been the wettest June ever and our rather expensive irrigation system we installed last winter to water our freshly coppiced and replanted hedge seems a little surplus to requirements!

Plenty to read on a wet day if you can’t get to your wood though. This month Sarah has reported from a green woodworking course, where she made a stool, there’s an interesting article about managing deadwood from the Forestry Commission plus a comprehensive round up of all ‘woodie’ events going on around the country.
