Newbie from Gatwick

Postby Sylvan » Wed Jan 23, 2013 10:33 am

Hi All,

Thought I would introduce myself.

Myself and my 3 sisters inherited some land and woodland situated near Gatwick Airport. We have enlisted the help of friends and family to maintain the area, but we are greatly lacking in the basic knowledge required to take the area from lovely to wonderful. I look forward to using the resources provided by this site and perhaps picking some of your brains in the near future.

Hi and welcome to the forum, there is a broad range of experience on here so hopefully you should find some answers to your questions.
We are based just North of Gatwick so if you ever require any professional services or just another opinion (I’m sure there is probably enough of those with 4 of you working together though) then please get in contact

Thanks Alex, either name suits.

Thanks David. With 3 sisters, opinions are something we are never short of. Expertise however, we are in short supply of!

Hi,

Is your wood part of Glovers Wood at Charlwood?, I have a plot there. Sadly not done much this winter as the ground is so wet. Best of luck anyway.

Hi Qwercus,

Not part of Glovers Wood, but it is in Charlwood. It is a small patch of land just off of the Ifield Road, as you come into Charlwood. We are practically neighbours. Would love to meet up and pick you brains some time.
