Hello from Worcestershire

Postby woodmonkey » Fri Nov 02, 2012 4:53 pm

Hello everyone, Im Tom and I am purchasing a 4 acre plot of broadleaf woodland in Worcestershire, its still going through the solicitors but I really cant want to get stuck in! Its part of Ellbatch wood https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=ellbatch+wood&ie=UTF-8&ei=1fmTUKuFKIHb0QWksIHICg&ved=0CAsQ_AUoAgnear great whitley, all of Ellbatch Wood is being sold in plots so maybe I will bump into a new neighbour here? That would be nice as I am very happy to work together with others.

I have started a blog to show the progress in my wood here http://1000months.blogspot.co.uk/ If anyone else blogs about their wood I am very keen to subscribe to yours too so please give me your links.

So far the main thing i need advice on is I have noticed a problem with some dying chestnut trees that I will post in the appropriate forum here with photos to ask for advice. Anyway just wanted to say Hi and really looking forward to meeting other woodland people!

cheers

Tom
