posting links

during the forum software upgrade - it appears that links posted in threads on the old software can not be clicked on and i don't think there is an easy way to fix the problem

if you want to use a link posted by somebody (on old format) it would probably be easier if you can just copy and paste the link info into your browser

links posted on this new software should be ok (and clickable) - either posted as a simple copy and paste from the browser into the post or by using the URL tab at the top of the message box

i think :?

somebody posted links (in a thread) today - without using the URL button - and their links were not in fact "clickable" - so can i suggest that posters use the URL button when posting links - this should then make links clickable for users and assuming their browsers are set to do so, will open that link in a seperate tab / window :)
