  1. I'm told by Zena Wilmot - Swyddog Partneriaeth Coed Lleol Partnership Officer that there are still a few places remaining for the Woodland management roadshow on Saturday 17th July

Learn about the theory and practice of community woodland management, meet people with similar interests in your local area and delve into specific issues with in-depth workshops.

There is a great line-up of workshops on managing woodlands for biodiversity, the history of Troserch woods, BWW grants, management of community woodlands in periurban areas, dealing with woodland crime and solutions to vandalism.

There will also be the opportunity to find out more about how climate change and Welsh woodlands.

If you can’t make it to this one there are three more events coming up!

Mid Wales: 24th July 2010 - Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust, Dolforwyn woods in Abermule
N Wales: 7th August 2010 - Moelyci near Tregarth, Bangor
SE Wales: 11th September 2010 - Blaen Bran Community Woodland, Cwmbran
