Woodland Bee Hunting in the High Weald

High Weald AONB are putting on an interesting Bee Hunting event running on Friday 9th May, and Saturday 10th May.  Details below.

Join Rosie Earwaker, a bee enthusiast from the RSPB, to discover more about the rare Fringed-horned Mason Bee, and why they live in High Weald coppiced woodlands today.

Rosie will show you the bee’s habitat and how to find them, whilst dispelling a few myths.  There will also be an opportunity to have a go at catching and identifying bees!
